Simple Smoked Salmon Spread is an appetizer that works well for a variety of get togethers, from brunch to football. Game day is around the corner and this delicious, simple recipe should be on your menu to keep guests satisfied without much effort on your part.
We all know that the year’s biggest football game isn’t always about the game — especially when your team is nowhere to be found (hellooooo Cleveland Browns). So what’s left for you?
You’ve got the commercials to awe over (or groan at), and of course the food! Who doesn’t love game day food?
If you’re hosting or contributing to a game day spread, you can easily whip up this tasty simple smoked salmon spread. It’s perfect to schmear on bagel chips or your favorite crackers, and you could even serve it with veggies (cucumber sound perfect to me).
A crowd needs food, amiright? If you’re looking for a few more options for easy dips, try my Spiced Edamame Hummus. It’s such a pretty color and the spiciness is a fun surprise!
Creamy is the name of the game when it comes to Creamy Artichoke and Roasted Red Pepper Spread. It’s got that classic vibe that you’ll love, too.
More into dessert? You’ll love this Honey-Mango Dessert Hummus. Yes, dessert hummus! Don’t knock it ’til you’ve tried it. Once you have, you’ll be back for more!
Simple Smoked Salmon Spread
I usually make this salmon spread for New Year’s festivities but I somehow overlooked it this year. Since it’s one of my favorites, I couldn’t let the beginning of the year go by without it!
If you’re not into football, this spread makes a great dish for a special brunch or shower. You might even use it as a filling for tea sandwiches. Add a few cukes on the side and you’ll be set!
Even though the holidays are over, I feel like they’re not officially over until that final festive get together focused on a football game.
Simple Smoked Salmon Spread is my contribution to the fun! Not only is it delicious, but it’s an easy way to add a savory spread to the table. Maybe next year, Browns. Maybe next year…
